This Privacy Policy explains how OTUSWORLD (“OTUS World”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit otusworld.com, register an OTUS product, or contact our customer support, including through Amazon’s product support chat and call features.

1. Who we are

OTUS World is the brand owner of OTUS products sold on Amazon. Our products are fulfilled by Amazon. For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@otusworld.com.

2. Information we collect

  • Product registration: first and last name, email address, phone number, Amazon order number, product ASIN and purchase date.
  • Contact form and emails: your name, email address, subject and the content of your message.
  • Customer support via Amazon: when you contact us through Amazon’s “Chat with Manufacturer” or “Request a Call from Manufacturer”, we receive the content of the conversation and the product title. Amazon does not share your order details or payment information with us. Any additional details (for example, an email address) are shared only if you choose to provide them.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, collected automatically by our hosting provider and website software for security, spam protection and site operation. Our website uses only cookies that are necessary for it to function.

We do not collect payment card details. All purchases are processed by Amazon under Amazon’s Privacy Notice.

3. How we use your information

  • To answer your questions and provide product support, setup help and troubleshooting.
  • To register your product and handle warranty, replacement and return requests.
  • To improve our products, instructions and customer service.
  • To keep our website secure and prevent spam and abuse.
  • To send you product news or offers, only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

4. Legal bases (EEA and UK visitors)

We process personal data to perform our obligations to you (support and warranty), on the basis of our legitimate interests (improving products and protecting our website), to comply with legal obligations, and on the basis of your consent where required (marketing emails). You may withdraw consent at any time.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with:

  • service providers that help us run our business, such as our website hosting and email service providers, who may use it only on our behalf;
  • Amazon, when support takes place through Amazon’s platform or is needed to resolve an order-related issue;
  • authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights.

6. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above: for support conversations, until your request is resolved and for the product’s warranty period; for registration data, for the warranty period; and longer only where the law requires it. After that, we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct personal information and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. 8. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

10. Children

Our website and services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
