Refund policy

Effective date: October 19, 2026

OTUS lamps are sold on Amazon.com and shipped by Amazon, so returns and refunds go through Amazon under Amazon’s return policy. On top of that, every OTUS lamp has our own warranty, described below.

Before you return: let us help

If the lamp does not work the way you expect, contact us first. Many issues, such as the touch or gesture controls, can be solved in a few minutes. Instructions and quick fixes are on our Support page.

How to return a lamp

  1. Open Your Orders in your Amazon account.
  2. Choose the order and select Return or replace items.
  3. Follow Amazon’s instructions. Amazon provides the return options and issues your refund.

Please always start a return in your Amazon account instead of sending the lamp to us. Return windows, conditions and refund times are set by Amazon: see the Amazon.com Return Policy.

OTUS Limited Warranty

  • 18 months from the date of purchase for every OTUS lamp.
  • 18 more months when you register: register your lamp on our registration page, or email your Amazon order number to support@otusworld.com, while the warranty is still running. Your warranty then lasts 36 months in total from the date of purchase.
  • What is covered: defects in materials and workmanship under normal household or office use.
  • What is not covered: damage caused by accidents, drops, liquids, misuse, unauthorized repair or modification, and normal wear and tear.
  • How to make a claim: contact us by phone or email with your Amazon order number, a short description of the problem and, if possible, a photo or short video.
  • What we do: if the defect is covered, we send you a replacement lamp or part, or refund the purchase price.
  • Warrantor: OTUSWORLD LLC. The address is on our Legal Notice page.

This warranty applies in addition to your rights under law and does not limit them. It gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. The warranty terms on this page replace any shorter warranty period printed in older OTUS product manuals.
